Vision Zero Toronto

Judging

After the Vision Zero Challenge closes on Thursday, July 26th, a two phased judging process will begin. Make sure you review the judging scorecard in the resources section for a comprehensive understanding of how points will be awarded.

PHASE 1
During Phase 1, submissions will be judged by a panel of 5-7 judges with technical and content expertise.

The five teams with the highest scores will advance to the second round. The Top 5 teams will receive feedback from Phase 1 judges to help refine their idea before the Pitch Competition. Phase 1 judging is expected to be complete around August 24th, 2018. The five teams will be notified about Phase 2 and their feedback at the end of August 2018.

PHASE 2
Phase II judges will be asked to independently review and score submissions based on two criteria before the Pitch Competition (Innovation and Sustainability). They will have the opportunity to readjust their scores following the Pitch Competition. The Top 5 teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges with content and technical expertise. Teams will be evaluated on Phase 2 judging criteria.
