The Western Canada 2021 AquaHacking Challenge is organized jointly by the Okanagan Basin Water Board (OBWB) and Aqua Forum. This is the 10th edition of the AquaHacking Challenge. The competition is in English, it is completely virtual and is open to participants from across Canada.
In this challenge, the Hackworks team will accompany the participants from their registration to the semi-finals. From there, the finalist teams will be taken care of by the organizing team (OBWB - Aqua Forum) and the others will be welcomed in the AquaHacking Alumni community.
The AquaHacking Challenge is a technological and entrepreneurial competition aimed at developing innovative solutions to freshwater issues. This Challenge allows young innovators to launch their start-up with a sustainable mandate. It is a pre-incubator and a stepping-stone for future entrepreneurs in the water sector.
This Challenge was established by the de Gaspé Beaubien Foundation and is powered by the RBC Foundation.
